The sunshine vitamin for bones and immunity
Vitamin D3 Cholecalciferol
At our latitudes, most of the year brings a shortage of vitamin D. A bioidentical form of D3, exactly like the one your body makes in the sun.
Take 1 capsule daily with plenty of water.
What makes Sanazia Vit. D3 Cholecalciferol special?
Vitamin D, often called the "sunshine vitamin", is essential for the human body. The body can produce it on its own when the skin is exposed to sunlight, but at our latitudes a deficiency, especially during the winter months, is very common. Vitamin D plays a key role in calcium absorption, helping to keep bones and teeth healthy. It also supports normal immune function and contributes to normal muscle function.

Sanazia Vit. D3 contains cholecalciferol, a form of vitamin D3 that is bioidentical to the one our body naturally produces. Scientific studies confirm that vitamin D3 is more effective at raising and maintaining an optimal blood level of vitamin D than the plant-based D2 form. A dose of 1000 IU (25 µg) is the optimal amount, in line with expert recommendations for effective supplementation and preventing deficiency in adults.
Our vitamin D3 comes from lanolin, a natural wax obtained from the wool of sheep raised on Australia's vast, clean pastures. Lanolin is a by-product of gentle wool shearing, which guarantees an ethical and sustainable source. Cholecalciferol is produced by a unique process that mimics nature: a precursor is isolated from the lanolin and then activated by UV light, just as sunlight acts on our skin. The result is bioidentical, pharmaceutical-grade vitamin D3, its quality verified by independent laboratories.
The importance of vitamin D for the immune system is extensively documented. A comprehensive scientific review from 2020 confirmed that vitamin D receptors are found on almost all immune system cells, pointing to its important role in the immune response. Studies also show that a daily intake of around 1000 IU is effective at achieving and maintaining an adequate vitamin D level in most of the population, helping to prevent the negative effects of deficiency.
Sanazia Vit. D3 is an ideal supplement, especially during periods of low sunlight such as autumn and winter, or for people who spend most of their time indoors. Regular use helps maintain an optimal level of this important vitamin throughout the year. For the best results, consistency matters, together with a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Answers to your questions
Ideal for people who spend a lot of time indoors, live in regions with limited sunlight, or for older adults, who are more prone to vitamin D deficiency.
Vitamin D3 is an essential nutrient with a profound effect on several aspects of human health. Its primary role is to increase the body's ability to absorb calcium and phosphorus from food, which is critical for building and maintaining strong bones and teeth. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Vitamin D3 also modulates the activity of the immune system, helping the body fight infections and illness. In terms of mental health, vitamin D3 can positively influence mood and help combat depression. Its wide-ranging role in the body makes it one of the most versatile dietary supplements.
Vitamin D3 is best taken in the morning, as it's fat-soluble and absorbed more effectively alongside dietary fat. It's therefore best taken with a meal containing healthy fats, such as avocado, nuts or fish.
Vitamin D3 begins to act almost immediately after intake, but its long-term effects on bone health and immunity may only become apparent after several weeks of regular use.
Vitamin D was first identified in the 20th century, when scientists were searching for a way to combat rickets, a disease that affected many children and was linked to a deficiency of this vitamin. Research led to the discovery that sunlight stimulates the production of vitamin D in the skin, triggering its synthesis. This discovery was revolutionary and changed the way we look at vitamin D. Scientists such as Sir Edward Mellanby and Elmer McCollum were behind these pioneering findings.
